Skin Peels
Skin peels are a way of removing the top layer of the skin and encouraging the growth of new skin to take its place which looks more soft and fresh with fewer blemishes and pigmented areas.
It is a clinical procedure that involves the application of alpha-hydroxyacids (AHAs) to the skin to induce controlled removal (or exfoliation) of old skin and stimulation of new epidermal growth. This results in a softer, refined texture with more even skin tones and reduced hyperpigmentation. Home care preparation is required before and after some peels. This process is gradual and non-toxic, leading to softer, more even and refined skin texture in approximately 4-6 weeks.
