Thread Veins (Fine Facial Veins) and Spider Veins

Thread veins, or red facial veins and spider veins can be treated with diathermy. A tiny electrolysis wire is used to cauterise the blood vessels, thereby diminishing them. Subsequent treatments are required to treat larger or more stubborn capillaries. It is not always possible to fade all of the thread veins, but a reduction of approximately 80% can usually be achieved.
